When I became a father, nobody told me that the job would include helping my child find chicken coop designs that we could build. I was raised in Chicago and the only chickens I’d ever seen were either at the zoo, or in the meat section of the grocery store. For added information do Click here

You can imagine my surprise when my son came home from school telling me all about how easy it is to raise chickens and how he wanted to try it. Once he got his mother on his side, I gave up any semblance of protest.

My wife and son took on the task of finding the best chicken coop designs on the Internet. What they decided on was a straightforward, no-nonsense e-book with clear step-by-step instructions and easy-to-read diagrams.

I have to say I was very impressed with this book. Despite its very reasonable price, it was packed with a wealth of information. It gave detailed instructions for building a movable chicken coop, a slightly bigger coop and a deluxe large coop.

I also appreciated that the book included detailed instructions on how to find the best and least expensive materials. In addition, the book download included extra modules on positioning your chicken coop and how to build nesting boxes cheaply.

We decided on a movable ark-type chicken coop design for our first experience. It took us less than a weekend to finish our project. Here’s the part I still can’t get over – we’re getting chicks in the mail. That’s right. The US Post Office actually delivers baby chicks!
